At Thasta, every saree is thoughtfully curated and quality-checked before it reaches you. We take great pride in offering handcrafted pieces that reflect timeless artistry and care.
Please review our policy carefully before making your purchase.
Eligibility for Exchange
- Every saree is thoroughly inspected before dispatch.
- In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or defective, please share an unboxing video showing the package being opened on WhatsApp: +91 8848871793 within 24 hours of delivery.
- The final decision to approve an exchange rests solely with Thasta, after reviewing the shared video and product details.
Please Note:
- No cancellation once an order is placed.
- Exchanges only for verified cases of damage or defect.
- Products disliked by the customer or minor colour differences will not be eligible for exchange.
- Items must be in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
- Worn, washed, altered, or used sarees will not be accepted.
- Colour variations are not considered defects. Sarees are photographed in natural light, but screens may slightly vary.
- Sarees that have undergone fall and hemming are not eligible for exchange.
- Sale/discounted items are final sale — no exchange.
Natural Characteristics of Handcrafted Sarees
Handwoven sarees may carry minor irregularities that reflect true artistry. These may include:
- Small knots or thread joins
- Slight weave variations or dye smudges
- Minor gaps in motifs or thread slubs
- Minimal colour bleeding (common in traditional weaves)
These are not considered defects.
Hand-Dyed Sarees
Colour spreading and minor shade variations are natural in hand-dyed pieces and will not be considered defects for return/exchange/refund.
Exchange Process
- We provide exchanges only — no refunds.
- Replacement item must be of equal or higher value.
- The original product will be reviewed and approved by our team before an exchange is processed.
Reporting an Issue
If your product is damaged or if there is a dispatch error, please report it within 24 hours of delivery along with the unboxing video:

Important Notes
- Exchanges that do not meet the policy criteria will be declined and returned to the sender.
- Thasta reserves the right to accept or reject any exchange request.
- Please double-check order details (product, color, shipping address) before checkout — cancellations are not accepted after the order is placed.
